Part One of how many? I have no idea. Have some sewing pictures.

I got this one as a kit in a Build-Your-Own-Buddybox from Blurt (not sponsored – *Marge Simpson meme* I just think they’re neat). It’s one of three I’ve done. The others will turn up eventually.

This bear was a kit from Aldi. The various pieces of felt came pre-cut with the threads and I just put it together and stuffed it, but it was tremendously fun. I also ended up doing three of these. And now I’m thinking about that quote from an episode of Sherlock I never personally watched.

I started sewing this to enter a competition – poetry in a medium other than text, basically – but never finished it in time. Now I have it framed and hanging up in my kitchen. Because of course I’d want to put a cross-stitch I designed of a poem I wrote on the wall in my house. What raging conceit monster wouldn’t?

That toothbrush font? I made that up. Really damn proud of it as well. As for the tooth, that’s from DailyCrossStitch, where I get most of my patterns (it’s their Tooth Fairy sans wings and crown).
And that’s it for today!
